Soaker are an important part of  protecting the joins in weatherboards, they are designed to stop water from getting into the ends of the weatherboard to avoid potential damage, mould or decay.
 
Our 135 degree external corner soakers are primarily used for new builds but can be used for existing buildings with slight modification.
The size of these soakers is approximately 20mm longer than the size specified as this is to allow for the soaker to lap under the weatherboard above. The size listed in the title is referring to the size of the weatherboard.
 
This soaker is made from 0.45mm 304 Stainless Steel with PVC film.
Painting Stainless Steel on site may adversely effect its durability. If it must be painted, Powder Coating would be a safer option.
